Youth volunteers from Taiwan and abroad co-design multicultural curricula or participate in the program from training to on-site teaching and coordination. The camp also develops volunteers’ skills in teamwork, communication, leadership, and adaptability, making it both a learning experience for students and a shared journey of growth for young educators.

Most mentors possess both conversational Chinese ability and strong English proficiency, allowing them to tailor sessions to each student’s learning pace and communication style. By interacting with mentors close to their own age, students move beyond traditional classroom hierarchies, reducing the pressure to speak while increasing confidence in pronunciation and conversational fluency.

Civil association members will have additional access to Youth Impact Taiwan's internal resources, especially the opportunity to be one of the managers in one of the departments. Members will have a bi-monthly meeting to update the organization on its latest milestones and future plans.
